Hallo, Space Girl!
Jammi is a photographer. She’s a lot of other things, and if you’re really interested, she writes fairly well about herself at her regular blog New Killer Star. She was a professional studio photographer who specialized in children and their families for about a year. But long before that, she loved holding a camera. There’s still a lot to learn about photography, and it’s a damn challenging but seemingly simple craft.
This is where the photoblog comes in.
One picture a day. It’s pretty simple a concept. Not all of them will be fantastic, but they will be honest, and they will be a habit that will hopefully work into the theory of “practice makes perfect”. We’ll see where it goes.
Wait, wait. Why Space Girl?
Because David Bowie has this totally awesome song called “Hallo Spaceboy”. End of story. (There’s a possible and actual explanation as to how people from space relate to photography, but all you really need to know at this point is that Jammi loves David Bowie. It shows. Really.)
